Busayo OBISAKIN

Busayo OBISAKIN, the Financial Director at the Mordecai Care Foundation in Nigeria. With an impressive 29 years of experience in both individual and group counseling, she truly knows her stuff. Busayo is not just a Certified Trainer/Coach for the Imagine Agency Development Workshop; she’s also a specialist in Gender Aids Effectiveness, having dedicated a decade to gender-related initiatives as the Founder and CEO of the Women Inspiration Development Center.

Currently, she serves as the Project Director for the international initiative IMAGINE “Delivery Agency” in Nigeria, where she has successfully empowered over 7,245 women and girls through her transformative 4-day Empowerment Workshops across five states.

Busayo is also a proud World Pulse Voices of our Future Correspondent and was honored as an award recipient in 2009. As an impactful leader within World Pulse, she represents the Nigerian World Pulse network as an ambassador. Additionally, she is a member of the Internet Society and the Alliance for Affordable Internet in Nigeria.

Her dedication to peace-building earned her the 2017 Shero in Peace Building award from the Women Peace and Security Network, recognizing her seven years of hard work in this vital area.
